John Oates Facts

Born in New York City, John had spent most of his adolescence in North Wales, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, and completed most of his schooling in that state.

While finding out at Temple University in Philadelphia, he had first met Daryl Hall who used to be his senior there and also a qualified musician. The two become excellent pals and have been considering several school bands prior to forming ‘Hall & Oates’ in 1970.

The Billboard magazine has named ‘Hall & Oates’ as probably the most successful duo of the ‘Rock Era’.

In the heydays of his occupation, he used to sport a definite mustache, in honor of which, he used to be inducted into the inaugural magnificence of the ‘International Mustache Hall of Fame’ in 2015.
